“Building Relationships Through Flying”

Lobster Fest About 60 people attended. They enjoyed lobster, clams, corn, hamburgers, hotdogs and more. Later in the afternoon, water pistol shootouts occurred, and many cooled down. A few people didn’t enjoy getting wet, but all survived the water battle. We appreciate the help we received from several people. Without your help, we would have not been organised. Thank you. Fly-Outs and Airshows Nine people attended our KAC Dinner Fly-Out to Chester County Airport’s Flying Machine Café. Great food! Our next fly-out is Friday August 22nd to the Sky Manor Airport Restaurant. Please Clean up your act! We have noticed aircraft windows are quite dirty, can you really see those aircraft or are they bugs? Parking Your Aircraft If you are unable to park your aircraft correctly, please use the tow bars to reposition the plane Keep your aircraft engine cooled properly Aircraft engines are returning with low oil. Please respect your aircraft. Our mechanics spend a lot of time taking care of these aircraft, please do the same. Engines are costly, and low oil can damage the engine. If you don’t know the proper level for your aircraft, you must not have a POH. Please get one. Know your oil levels, your V numbers, and fuel burn rates. Your life could depend on this information. Remember If you have not flown within 90 days, you must renew your currency by flying with a flight instructor. My FBO Hints Under the Home Tab is a My FBO Tutorial. Under the Record Tab is a list of you recent flights. Under the Aircraft Tab is Aircraft Maintenance Information. Under the Profile Tab is your personal data. If you are a student, you can “dispatch out” the aircraft, but your instructor must “check in” the aircraft. |

(ACP)Diamond DA 20 for Sale Great opportunity to own a leaseback airplane with a solid following in the club. The aircraft represents a good tax savings vehicle for the right buyer and I can provide you with a spreadsheet to analyze the return potential of the plane. N208DB is a 2004 Diamond C-1 Eclipse with 1100 hours tt. Replacement cost of the airplane is $180,000 and the enhancements since 2004 have been minimal. The airplane must remain in the club for at least twelve months as part of the sale. I am selling the airplane to add a DA-40 Diamond Star to the club. That aircraft will have a 530/430 with autopilot and will give us a 4 place IFR cruiser to complement the DA-20. The addition of the Star should increase demand for the DA-20 as it will give club members the option of training in the 2 place and using it as a local flying solo airplane and using the 4 place for trips or actual IFR flight. Asking $125,000 for the DA-20. If interested, contact Darren Baer at dbaer2@aol.com or by cell at 267-496-9175

CHARTS in the PILOT SHOP We will not be providing the number
of different Flight Charts in the Pilot Shop as we did in the past. If you need a chart we no longer carry, we
will be glad to order the chart you need.
It takes
a week+ for us to receive an ordered chart from the FAA. Please order your needed chart’s early. Aviation Safety Report System The NASA Report
has been replaced by the ASRA Reporting Program. To increase the flow of information necessary
for an effective evaluation of flight violations, this system offers the
reporter anonymity. To learn more visit AOPA’s link

http://www.flyingmag.com Many Thanks! I’d like to
thank the entire staff of Kenmarson - the mechanics, Frank, and the office
staff – for their help with my check ride today. Everything was right with the plane, and the
folks in the office even went out of their way to make sure that the plane was
fueled before I got there. I couldn’t
have done it without you. Mark

There
was a brief exchange about intentions, followed by an "oops" and 30
seconds of silence. The next voice I heard on that frequency said: "Attention all aircraft.
Previous controller no longer a factor.
